A Blessing for a Good and Virtuous Woman

May is just about over and so are my SSS (Stretch and Strengthen with Scripture) classes that focus on Proverbs 31 and what it means to be a good or virtuous woman today. I hope you read or will read my previous post that goes over that in detail, but today I want to leave you with a blessing based on this modern-day view of the Proverbs 31 woman.

Blessing for a Good and Virtuous Woman

I bless you, in the name of Jesus, with living into your full potential. I bless you with being comfortable in your own skin and satisfied with your life.

You are more valuable than diamonds, rubies, and gold. May your partner recognize that and trust you without reserve. May your partner deserve the kindness and grace you give so freely.

I bless you with a keen eye for quality and value in all of your dealings. I bless you with energy and joy to complete your daily tasks. I bless you with acumen in your investments.

I bless you with strength, might, and power in all your works. May you be strong and powerful in mind, body, and spirit.

I bless you with a sense of social justice that spurs you to generously help the needy but also fight for change within your government.

I bless you with the quiet confidence that comes knowing you have provided for your family’s needs.  May your family recognize and acknowledge your hard work. May your household be covered in grace and live righteously.

I bless your partner also with success and admiration in the community.

I bless you with the ability to treat all people with respect and kindness—even your enemies. I bless you with wisdom and the gift of speaking loving instructions to those around you.

I bless you with inner beauty and the outward radiance that comes from loving, trusting, and following the Lord. May you receive the praise and recognition your deserve, and may your legacy be praised for generations.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
