Ingredients
- 1 (15-ounce) can white beans (cannellini, navy, Great Northern)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons pesto
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 pinch red pepper flakes
Garnish:
- 2 tablespoons chopped tomatoes

Instructions
- Drain and rinse beans in a colander.
- Place beans and all remaining ingredients, except garnish, in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. (Mash with a potato masher for a rustic version.) Adjust seasonings, to taste.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and sprinkle chopped tomatoes on top.
